Building on the strengths of previous models, this conversion kit introduces innovative enhancements that set it apart.

The Problem: Traditional cookers use a single slave heat source to power all areas of the appliance, whether it’s oil, gas, or electric. Using only one heat source means very long heat-up times from cold and as a result demands that the appliance be left on permanently. This results in inefficient energy use, high running costs, and a large carbon footprint. Cooking in one area will mean temperatures drop in other areas resulting in declining performance whilst cooking – sound familiar? These outdated systems are not only costly but also out of sync with modern needs.

The Solution: eControl: Series X features a smart operating system with dedicated heating elements for each area of the appliance. With concealed elements above and below the ovens, and dedicated elements for each hob, the system delivers significantly improved performance in all areas. Independent thermostatic control allows you to set any temperature in any hob or oven.

The eControl system also lets you control which areas of the appliance are on or off at any time. Each area heats up much faster than in traditional models—for example, our ovens reach 200°C in only 35 minutes, compared to the 10 hours many traditional models require. Plus, since eControl uses multiple heat sources, cooking in one area won’t affect temperatures in another. You can easily select your preferences on the intuitive control panel.

Ambient Heat on Demand: For a full ambient heat experience, the cooker can be left running with the ovens on and hobs in ECO mode. If you prefer to cook a meal and then turn it off, the fast heat-up times make this practical, allowing the cooker to be useful year-round. Even in winter, it’s worth considering whether keeping the cooker running through the night is necessary—this can have a significant impact on running costs and carbon footprint.

Eco-Friendly and Low Maintenance: Since the eControl system burns no fossil fuels, it produces no products of combustion or fumes, eliminating the need for a chimney. This means all generated heat stays in the room rather than being expelled outside. No annual servicing is required, and our 5-year parts warranty ensures peace of mind until the recommended 5-year check-up.
